Congregation

We are a small evangelical presbyterian congregation that concentrates on making the Word of God relevant to our society today. Our congregation is mainly made up of young people with a strong fellowship. Visitors are most welcome. At least one service each Sunday is expository preaching with practical application to today’s culture. Our midweek meeting consists of prayer and discussion on some Biblical topic and how it relates to our world today. There are also other prayer times. Other details of the congregation can be found by clicking on the links on the left. Please feel free to drop us an email and ask us any questions you like. Our pastor is Donald C Macaskill will be happy to discuss any point with you.

We are very concerned about the moral and spiritual state of the nation and some in the congregation are involved with other Christians in trying to offset the apathy within the church at large towards our social responsibilities. We do however, believe, that only the gospel of Jesus Christ can change people and our nation.

We are also concerned that we may not be able to extend our contract beyond June with our full time worker, who has been a great help in lifting our profile in the community. He has started a Community Sunday School and has entry into two schools for half-hour teaching sessions, as well as running clubs and preaching. Please pray that we may be able to extend his contract. We are deeply thankful that funding has come in for his first year which ends in June. However, other areas in the congregation are in need of extra help - so we will need pledges from friends in the next two months or so to ensure that we can continue to operate on all fronts. More details later.
