Crisis Pregnancy & Post-Abortion Counselling
Our premises are used for counselling girls who fear they may be pregnant. This is done by Alternatives, a charity in Dundee set up in 1992 for the purpose of helping both men and women who are faced with the problem of an unexpected or unwanted pregnancy. Help and advice is available to everyone regardless of race, religion, faith or lifestyle. One of the rooms at the back of the church is used to counsel the girls, by trained and committed volunteers, including one from our own congregation. Appointments need to be made and may take place at any time. The telephone number for those needing help in this area is 221112. Blythswood Collection
Blythswood are the Scottish Charities group whom we support by providing clothes, food, cleaning materials, etc. A lorry comes to Tesco on the Riverside, Dundee, usually on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. From 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Anyone living locally who is unable to go to Tesco could ring 451798 and ask for a collection to be made.

Homeless Charity
We regularly are in touch with our local Homeless Charity, Cyrenians Dundee, and provide for them monthly and offer them hospitality at our church. Tel 01382 223833 Fax 01382 203422.

Dundee Christian Action Group (CARE)
This is the local branch of Christian Action Research & Education based at 53 Romney Street, London SW1P 3RF Tel 020 7233 0455 email: mail@care.org.uk www.care.org.uk The manse is the usual venue for meetings. The group endeavour to ‘Declare Christian Truth and Demonstrate Christ’s Compassion’, the motto of the national organisation by informing and assisting the various types of public servants to respect God’s Word.
